Daredevil first appeared in Daredevil #1 by Stan Lee, Jack Kirby and Bill Everett. This issue is part of RMI High Tech’s CGC Registry set titled Nothing but WHITE Pages 9.9's/9.8's and the HIGHEST CGC Graded copies. The example is in a CGC Signature Series holder (with a Lee signature) and graded CGC 9.4 Restored.

In the comic, Matt Murdock is a visually impaired lawyer by day, but at night he uses his superhuman senses to fight crime in the streets of New York as the vigilante Daredevil.

After the 2003 film starring Ben Affleck, Marvel rebooted the hero in 2015 with a new series on Netflix starring Charlie Cox as “the Man Without Fear.” The series ran for three seasons before it was cancelled, after which fans launched a campaign for Marvel to return the series to film or television. Those fans were heard, and Cox made a surprise return as Matt Murdock in the 2021 film “Spider-Man: No Way Home,” followed by a guest appearance as Daredevil in the Disney+ TV series “She-Hulk.” This reintroduction lays the framework for Cox to reprise the role in a new upcoming Disney+ series “Daredevil: Born Again.”

RMI High Tech’s gigantic collection has earned the Best in Set Type Award in 2011 and again from 2013-2022, as well as the Best Set Silver Age in 2021.

RMI High Tech wrote in his CGC Registry profile: “Comic collecting probably started as a spinoff from studying mythology as a kid. Thor spilled over to the Avengers and the [early] X-Men. I never was a Spider-man or Hulk fan, but instead went to the human nature of Daredevil. The artwork of Frazetta and the writing of [Edgar Rice Burroughs], even Tarzan and Warlord of Mars.”
