Alternative Music Hall of Fame Launches RewindMemorabilia.com to Offer UltraSounds Collection of Rare, Original Vintage Concert Posters

The Alternative Music Hall of Fame™ (Alt Hall™) announces a new website, RewindMemorabilia.com to distribute portions of the UltraSounds Collection™ of rare and vintage concert posters from iconic bands including Nirvana, Depeche Mode, Pearl Jam, The Cure, Black Sabbath, Wu-Tang Clan, Oasis, Motley Crue and more.

The UltraSounds Collection™ consists of over 100,000 posters that were issued from the late 1970s through the early 2000s. The bulk of the collection focused on the highly coveted and historically important musical period of 1985 to 1995. Many of the posters in the collection were designed by legendary and highly regarded artist Mike King, the most prolific poster artist of the era, who resided in the Pacific Northwest. As telephone poles were the primary advertising method of bands performing in that region during the 1980s and 90s, the untouched condition of this collection sets it apart from others from that era.

Many of the bands featured on these posters fall within the various subgenres that Alt Hall™ honors and celebrates, including (but not limited to): punk, post-punk, new wave, ska, synth-pop, gothic rock, new romantic, grunge, alternative rock, Britpop and more. Many other original posters from other musical genres are available as well besides alternative music, including classic rock, rap/hip hop, pop, country, reggae, jazz and more.

A portion of proceeds from the sales of each item supports the Alternative Music Hall of Fame™ (Alt Hall™) non-profit foundation with their missions of preserving the history of alternative music subgenres and supporting young musicians with legal contractual help, lessons, instruments, equipment and mentoring from industry veterans through their Young Musicians Resource Center. Alt Hall™ and UltraSounds Collection™ Partnership offers original posters, handbills and tickets from all music genres found in the 100,000+ product vault.

Many posters are now available through the Rewind Memorabilia store at RewindMemorabilia.com. Each poster also comes with a certificate of authenticity that identifies the bands/musicians featured on the front, the artist who created the poster, the venue and date of the show that the poster promoted. All posters have the option to add custom archival framing. Several of the posters have been signed by the bands/musicians featured and/or the artist who created the poster design.

Many of the posters available have been authenticated, graded and encapsulated by Certified Guaranty Company® (CGC®), the authority on vintage concert poster grading.
