CCG Promotes Brittany McManus to VP of Autographs

The Certified Collectibles Group® (CCG®) is pleased to announce the promotion of Brittany McManus to Vice President of Autographs. This move reflects McManus’s success in building and managing CGC Signature Series®, the premier source for obtaining witnessed autographs from the most revered creators, celebrities and athletes. It also expands McManus’s role to include efforts to integrate and expand James Spence Authentication® (JSA®), the world leader in autograph authentication, following its acquisition by CCG in April 2024.

CGC pioneered witnessed signature authentication when it introduced CGC Signature Series in 2001. Since then, CGC has expanded its services for autograph collectors with the acquisition of JSA and the launch of CGC x JSA Authentic Autograph services for comics and cards that have already been autographed. The combination of CGC and JSA services is the answer to the countless collectors and dealers who have asked to have their autographed collectibles authenticated and then graded and encapsulated in one seamless solution. McManus has been with CCG for nearly 11 years and has led the CGC Signature Series team since 2019. When COVID hit and conventions came to a halt, she reinvented the program with in-house private signings, which turned out to be a gamechanger for the autograph collecting hobby by creating a more direct and efficient way to get collectibles signed and graded. CGC Signature Series has hosted the biggest names in pop culture, such as Jim Lee, Kevin Eastman, Rob Liefeld, J. Scott Campbell, Elvira, Alex Ross and Hugh Jackman. The relationships McManus has built with creators in the industry have been instrumental to CGC Signature Series’ continued growth and success. McManus is now bringing her vision and passion to support the growth of JSA.
