Omega Men #3

Omega Men #3 introduced fans to Lobo, the intergalactic bounty hunter with a brutal sense of humor and a penchant for over-the-top violence, quickly becoming one of DC’s most memorable antiheroes. First appearing in 1983 as a villain, Lobo evolved into a cult favorite for his wild antics and satirical edge. West Coast Avengers #7

West Coast Avengers #7 introduced Jeff the Land Shark, a lovable and quirky character who quickly won over fans with his adorable mix of shark ferocity and dog-like loyalty. DC All-In Special #1

Following the events of the 2024 Absolute Power event, DC All-In Special #1 introduced the DC Absolute Universe, a twisted reality forged by Darkseid after harnessing the power of the Spectre to reshape existence itself. This bold new universe blended familiar heroes with darker, corrupted versions of themselves, forcing them to confront their deepest flaws and the true cost of their ideals. The storyline launched Absolute incarnations of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman, which have since become fan favorites, popular among both readers and collectors for the striking, reimagined takes on these iconic characters.

Predator #1

Predator #1, released by Dark Horse Comics in 1989, marked the first comic book appearance of the iconic alien hunter, expanding on the universe introduced in the 1987 film. The series quickly became a fan favorite, blending sci-fi action with gritty, survival-based storytelling, as it explored new encounters between the Predator and various human characters. Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow #1

Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow #1, written by Tom King, introduced a bold new take on the Girl of Steel, as Kara Zor-El embarks on a gritty, emotional journey across the cosmos. This captivating series explores her struggles with loss, vengeance and her quest for justice, set against a backdrop of wild space adventures and complex moral dilemmas. The comic has gained even more attention with the announcement of an upcoming film adaptation, starring Milly Alcock as Supergirl, who will take center stage on a thrilling deep-space adventure that promises to showcase a more mature and grittier version of the character than audiences have typically seen.
