Paradise Comics Reality TV Comic Auction

Paradise Comics is participating in a reality TV show this summer called “Risky Business” where an everyday contestant invests $10,000, and Paradise Comics has to return a profit to them within 30 days! Making the TV show even more interesting, Paradise Comics is up against another entrepreneur who has also been staked, and for Paradise Comics to win, they have to show more profit than the other entrepreneur! The contest reaches its big finale on August 6th, as Paradise Comics does an in-store and online auction, selling the comics they have bought with the $10,000 stake!

Up for auction will be a number of illustrated sketch covers and all of the comics have been authenticated, graded and encapsulated by CGC! In addition to these fantastic books, Paradise Comics had the opportunity to do a signing with Stan Lee during the San Diego Comic-Con, and they have a select list of Signature Series Silver Age comics that will be available during the “Risky Business” comic auction on August 6th!

Contained in this collection for auction are a Fantastic Four #1, an Amazing Spider-Man #129, a Daredevil #1, and an Amazing Spider-Man #1! And what really makes an event like this possible, is the third-party grading, and thus customer confidence when purchasing that CGC (Certified Guaranty Company) provides. From witnessing the artists illustrating their sketch covers, to being on hand during the Stan Lee signing to help Paradise Comics with all the books they had, to then grading and safely encapsulating these amazing comics, CGC brings a level of trust and purchasing confidence to the comic market that no one else does!

Finally, Paradise Comics will be taking bids via phone and email for everyone’s convenience! All while being filmed live for the “Risky Business” reality TV show!
