CGC Certification Verification Tool

Certified Guaranty Company LLC (CGC) has announced that its Certification Verification Tool is now available to everyone who visits CGCcomics.com

With CGC's industry-leading tool, you can verify the certification of any comic book, Playboy or Sports Illustrated magazine, lobby card or vintage photo in a CGC holder. By simply entering the certification number on the CGC label, you’ll have all the details you need right at your fingertips — so you can verify the authenticity of a CGC-certified collectible prior to purchase.

CGC primary grader Paul Litch comments, “This database protects buyers of CGC-certified collectibles against tampering, so you can buy and sell with confidence. We are pleased to make this tool available to everyone."

The CGC database includes a complete record of the comic books graded by CGC since it began operations in 2000. Previously available only to paid Collectors Society and member dealers, access to CGC's verification tool has moved to the CGCcomics.com home page.
